Hello Awesome Readers~
Long time no entry about Makeup Battle. It took me awhile to conceptualize for another one.
Anyway, the long wait is over. For today's Makeup Battle, I would like to discuss the difference between two kinds of make up foundations in the market.
Foundation is one of the first steps in any makeup routine. It will serve as a base before you start painting the canvas. Finding the right formula for your face has always been a problem for a lot of girls out there. This post aims to help you decide what kind of foundation will work for you specifically Cream and Liquid Based Foundations.
What is a CREAM FOUNDATION?
Cream foundation is a kind of foundation that comes in a stick form or in a compact. The coverage of this kind of foundation is between medium to full depending on how many layers you would want to apply it. Some people might find this kind of foundations HEAVY but I must tell you NOT. It is not heavy at all. I guess it just depends on how think you want to apply it on your face. According to some makeup artist, they prefer cream based foundations because it gives out great coverage and it's easy to apply.
I have here my Pinkie Swear CREAM foundation and the moment I start using this, I swear I couldn't stop at all. It has been my new foundation ever since I tried it. What I like about it is the smooth finish it gives and how long lasting it is on my skin. It does cover most of my blemishes and I love how light it feels on my skin.
What is LIQUID FOUNDATION?
Liquid foundation is a kind of foundation that usually comes in a bottle or in a container. The coverage is light to full depending on the application as well as to what type of base you choose. This kind of foundation is the usually what women use for a daily basis. It comes in 2 formulas - water based and oil based. Water Based is best for women with oily skin and Oil-based for people with dry skin.
I have here my AVON Ideal Shade foundation and I fell in love with this liquid foundation for it's super light feel to it and it's sheer coverage. It does cover some of my imperfections but still allowing my skin to breathe. It has this unique formula that automatically adjusts to your skin tone leaving you a smooth and even application. This has been my favorite liquid foundation for the longest time! I have yet to find another one! ^^
There you go guys, it's now up to you to decide which foundation you think will work best for you.
Hope you liked this post!
