It's already Thursday and I am loving it! <3
Today's post is all about a trending fashion statement that has been around since 1905. It was first seen in a stage production worn by Maude Adams in her role as Peter Pan hence the name Peter Pan collar.
Ever since the appearance of this unique design, American women had been found sporting this new fashion statement. The Peter Pan collar replaced the high collar style which helped women hide any neck imperfections they had during that time.

And now, year 2012, Peter Pan collar is making way again in the fashion industry. Before, it was just common to little girl dresses but now, women of all ages are sporting it as well. Somehow, Peter Pan collar gives vintage look to any kind of dresses you wear. So if you adore VINTAGE fashion, this is one accessory you shouldn't miss.

Of course, I want to try this out for myself as well. I love vintage so I won't miss on this fashion trend. And everyone can have one as well, you can now find super cheap Peter Pan collars in your local bazaars or tiangge. I bought mine at St. Francis near Sm Mega Mall for only 150php
This is like a gold metal Peter Pan collar. AND I LOVE IT! It's one great piece to any of my outfits. I chose gold because it fits well with nudes and browns. But this is also available in Silver :)
