According to wikipedia.com " In Greek mythology,

a phoenix or phenix (Ancient Greek φοίνιξ phóinīx) is a

long-lived bird that is cyclically regenerated or reborn.

Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by

arising from the ashes of its predecessor."
