Hello Awesome Readers~

We are now down to the 3rd month of the year! What have you accomplished so far? How's your To Do list doing? Well for me, my March started with a BANG! I spent my first day of March reunited with my previous yet THE BEST work mates ever!Followed by another get-together by my best buddies way back in University.

March will be another busy yet most celebrated month this year again. Students all over the archipelago will be having their commencement exercises this month and that would be the BIGGEST EVENT of their lives! Surely, no one would like to make mistakes on this.

So I am going to be sharing some tips on makeup and posing for Graduation tonight. This would be a handy guide for those students who will be graduating this month and would like to own the night!

Graduation preparation for some might be a nightmare or a headache, but if you will follow these simple tips I will share to you, you will never look at Graduation preparation the same again.

Simplicity is BEAUTY.

One common mistake that we do when we are thinking of big events like Prom and Graduation is to over do our makeup. We think more is better. But in reality it is not. This is one event in our life that we wouldn't want to be failure. That's why classic look is the BEST way to go. So that when you look at your pictures 10-20 years from you, you still look great. Don't go for trends like heavy eye makeup and loud lip color, stay with neutrals and earth tones that will not be out of style. Just choose some of your features that you would like to highlight to shine on your special day!

Go for Water proof

This will surely be a very dramatic event. Your family and loved ones will be there to support you and for sure they will show how proud they are of you. Make sure your makeup will stay intact no matter how many tears you cried. So opt for waterproof mascara and eyeliner!

Bring Your Makeup Essentials

Graduation is a long event. You might want to touch up a little bit before hitting the red button. Bring your lipstick and your pressed powder to eliminate shine. These 2 makeup items will surely be enough to keep you fresh for the rest of the event.

Now let's move on to POSING tips:

The key in having a beautiful graduation picture is to talk to the photographer and explain your best features and what you want to highlight/ hide. It is important that you are comfortable with your photographer to avoid stressing your muscles which will only make your poses look dull and stiff. It's good if you take some test shots of yourself first in your own camera and mirror to check your best angle for the shoot.

Then there you go! Easy tips that would make a big difference in your big day!

Happy Graduation Batch 2013! ^^

LOVE,

Arrienne
