Hello Awesome Readers~

I bought something new today! Since I came in too early for my afternoon work, I decided to dropped by at Watsons area and spotted the Little Black Beauty Book ELF offers. If you already noticed, I love palettes and beauty kits. I think I can save more by doing this instead of buying single items. Like the Benefit Beauty kit I bought recently, remember?  I love testing out new products in kits first to check out if it's really worth buying it in full size rather than buying the full size of the products immediately and get disappointed with it.

So here's a new palette that I bought, the ELF Beauty Must Haves: Little Black Book Day Edition (399.75php).

What is ELF Little Black Book Day Edition?

According to ELF's website, Little Black Book is a convenient way to keep and carry around 48-piece eyeshadow colors in your purse anytime, anywhere! It allows you to create a look that reflects your personal style for any occasion. Each book includes 48 gorgeous shades, built-in mirror and 1 dual-ended applicator.

The packaging looks really sleek and handy. Definitely a palette that you won't have a hard time bringing and carrying in your purse. It opens like a book and houses 48 different shades of shimmery and matte eye shadows.

Day Edition is a warm palette that works great of every look. The colors ranges from light browns to deep plums. Perfect for pulling off the No Makeup Look trend and also neutral eye looks for day time.

What I liked about ELF's Little Black Book Day Edition:

Sleek packaging
Great concept on the labeling! Really catchy!
Wide selection of colors
Mixed eyeshadow finishes Matte, Pearly finish and Shimmery
built-in mirror
Shimmery eyeshadow pigmentation was AMAZING!
colors can be dupes for Urban Decay Naked Palette
Affordable
Readily Available

What I didn't like:

Poor pigmentation for Matte eye shadows
Some colors are chalky

In conclusion, I liked this palette a lot! It's very pretty, handy, chic and genius! I'm so digging the Little Black Book peg! It's like your beauty bible! Great for on-the-go and on-budget women out there! Some eyeshadows that are less pigmented compared to others but this can be easily solved by a good eye primer. I definitely recommend this to those who are looking for an affordable eyeshadow palette in neutral tones and didn't want to spend too much on Urban Decay Naked palette!

Thanks for reading my post! I hope I helped you somehow in deciding if you would want to give this palette a try. Talk to you all again on my next post! More post like this in the future! :)

Have you tried this palette? What are your thoughts? Let's talk!

LOVE,

ARRIENNE
