Finally gave Benetint a try and a road tested it to give you a full review of the product. If you haven't read my initial thoughts about Benetint please click HERE.

What is Benetint?

Innocent yet provocative, the Sexiest flush you can get from a bottle! - that's how Benetint was described by Benefit cosmetics.It is one of the staple products of Benefit cosmetics that really made a big hit for a lot of makeup artists and makeup enthusiasts. It's their original rose-tinted stain that claims to be kiss-proof and long lasting. This can be applied both on the lips and cheeks. And did you know that his lip stain was originally created for exotic dancers in the 70's? That was really interesting!

Packaging:

PROS:

The packaging looks really sleek and portable.

The bottle is a perfect fit on any beauty kits.

It locks in tightly, preventing bacteria and contamination.

Brush applicator is genius.

CONS:

The glass bottle is a little bit tricky when using for it might fell and broke. Goodbye 1 thousand~

The product can easily be spilled if you are not too careful.

Product:

PROS:

It's very lightweight. Almost feel like nothing on.

It gives off a pretty rose-stain that is not over powering nor overwhelming.

Has faint smell but not too funky.

Soaks on your lips upon application.

It's buildable.

CON:

Consistency is just a bit liquidy.

Pigmentation:

PROS:

Pretty flush of color on one application.

Looks natural.

CON:

One application might not be enough for some.

Needed to build it up if you want more color.

Longevity:

CON:

Doesn't stay for long once you eat and drink.

Application:

PRO:

Super easy application.

Here are the swatches on my lips, before and after!

I focus on the inner center part of lips on these swatches. Trying to recreate a gradient look.

CONCLUSION:

I really love this lip stain! It looks natural on any skin tone. It's also perfect if you want to achieve the infamous gradient lip stain Koreans do. A little trick though, if you want to wear this alone, make sure to hydrate your lips for it has tendency to dry your lips out over time. And for an extra step, you can top it off with a clear lip gloss to make it look prettier.

I highly recommend Benetint for all of you are likes natural looking lips but this will cost you a lot.

I will find a cheaper alternative for this soon, and I will review it for you!
