Hello Awesome Readers!~

Today I'll be having a back-to-back review of my recent purchases on makeup and these are coming from one makeup brand - Essence. I purchase my first foundation from Essence called Essence Stay All Day Foundation and Essence Eyeliners called Long Lasting Eye Pencils.

I've heard good reviews of these products and would like to give this a try as well. In fact, the Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencils was a recommendation from Nikkie of Nikkietutorials feature on one of her Hits and Oh Good Nos video. I was really intrigued so here are my thoughts about these Essence products.

Beginning with Essence Stay All Day Foundation (299php). This foundation claims to be

Here are the things I liked about Essence Stay All Day Foundation:
  • light weight
  • super blendable
  • smooth consistency
  • smells good  - this  is a rare occasion on which i liked fragrance in a foundation
  • the shade Soft Beige matches my skin tone well
  • the packaging is a big plus because it has pumps
  • available nationwide
  • light to medium coverage
  • reasonable tag price

Here are the things I didn't like about it:
  • feels sticky
  • can oil up fast in a humid weather
  • has tendency to look cakey on me
  • feels a little bit heavy if you pile up on this product
  • the coverage is just too thick for my liking even though I just applied one coat

Overall, Essence Stay All Day Foundation is a pretty good foundation minus the oily finish it gives to my skin. I like the fact that it can hide blemishes and can make you look flawless, but I don't like the sticky feeling of this foundation  and it's tendency to cake up. This foundation will be perfect if the weather is cool and not humid or else you will end up looking too oily in just a matter of time. Because of this factor, I can only give this 3 STARS. I don't know if it's just me but I just can't recommend this yet not unless you have dry skin and you don't oil up that much.

Moving on to Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencils in Black Fever and C'est La Vie (149php each). These Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencils were recommended by Nikkie and I am just so glad I listened to her and gave these babies a try! This is by far the BEST long lasting eye pencils I have ever tried in my life! This will definitely be my holy grail eye pencils!

Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in Black Fever is the blackest black eye liner out there. It's so pigmented and soft!!

Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in C'est La Vie in the other hand is a brightening and glittery silver liner that has the same texture and feeling!

So here are the things I like about these Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencils:
  • pigmentation is superb
  • longevity is amazing it's really a Long Lasting eye pencil
  • soft texture that glides on smoothly
  • really affordable
  • available in so many different colors
  • retractable packaging
Here are the things I didn't like about it:
  •  can somehow transfer on the lids if your lids are oily so set it with a powder to make it lasts longer

Overall, Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencils are the best drugstore eyeliners I have tried. I seriously cannot live without it! I find myself reaching through these pencils every single day. I also get compliments about these too! I just can't find enough words to describe these amazing eye pencils and I would definitely grab more of these. I highly recommend these to you guys as well! If you want to try the best eyeliner in Essence go grab this line!!!

Till next post!

Nice review, Coachee! :-)
It was very apparent to me that your dislikes about Essence Stay All Day Foundation are the same like mine. However, I don't know and it's funny, but I still use it on some occasions. LOL
Stay fabulous! :-)
